Honeymoon at Inner harbor - posted on 11/01/2006
The hotel is nice. They gave out dicount coupons to different events and clubs. I ordered the romance package to be delivered to our room after we left for dinner. Everything was great until time to go to bed. My wife discovered the sheets hadnt been changed so we called the front desk no one came, I went down and came back no one came, so when I went back the second time the Manger on duty moved us to a two room suite with a beautiful view of the harbour they did everything they could to make up for problem with the room. We were very pleased and would stay there again.
Lots of (unpleasant) surprises - posted on 07/17/2006
Even though my reservation was for a suite, they do not give suites to patrons of X. Since I had prepaid I had to accept it. They charge a $10 registration and dont tell you. Complain and they took it off. When I arrived it took a while to find a bell cap.while I was illegally parked. I Parked in lot next to hotel half price Good location, clean, One of the desk clerks was fabulous with an outstanding customer service attitude...

Wish I had stayed somewhere else - posted on 05/26/2006
I was disappointed with the service received. We arrived early so we went to lunch and did some shopping. When we returned the room was still not ready. We waited in the lobby for almost two hours while we watched about 8-10 other guests get rooms. Finally they found us different room. Even someone who didn't like the room they got was given another room before we got into ours. Also, we felt that the rooms were not very clean, especially for a newer hotel. I would not stay here again or recommend it to another.

We had a great stay at the Brookshire Suites Hotel. We had great customer sevice and the suites were great with our 2 kids. The sleeper sofa was not the best but it was a nice place. Thanks
Good Location - posted on 04/11/2006
This hotel is very well located--about a block from the Inner Harbor--and so is great for touring, shopping, dining, and Orioles games. The front desk staff were overworked but helpful. The suite was laid out well but the furnishings were worn and the sleep sofa was uncomfortable. However, the full hot breakfast that is included with the room, as well as the location and price, make this hotel a very good value.

On arriving in Baltimore we had a problem getting accommodation, a taxi took us to the Brookshire, after travelling all night and looking a bit dishevelled I found that the Reception staff were not very friendly or attentive, although one of the Hotel Porters, couldn't do enough to help us. He was the best thing about the hotel!
Friendliest Little Hotel In Baltimore - posted on 01/17/2005
Staff attentive. Unsolicited room upgrade, AARP discount, pet-friendly, VIP aquarium tickets, but housekeeping forgot towels one day. Room ceiling height low; sometimes 6', coffee table too large for the space. Bedroom door overlapped bathroom door, so both doorknobs would "interlock", which locked you in bathroom! Surprise extra: Hotel valet parking is $25 while neighborhood lots charge hourly rate. One negative: neighborhood north of hotel does not feel safe at night. However, we'd use the hotel again -- great rates, friendly, complimentary full breakfast, well-located for harbor.
