Ok overall. Nice breakfast. Internet service sucked the whole two days I was there. In my building I could hear every move made by the person in the room above me. No sound insulation in the walls or floors I suspect. Room was nice and well lit. Appliances worked well.

Good breakfast.

Internet didn't work; staff was smarmy; floors above me creaked.

Great place but a exercises room is very important to the business and leisure traveler. The dry sauna is a plus business travelers look for as a tension and stress reducer.

The set up and lay out of the room.

The exercises equipment was outdated and bad to use, no dry sauna.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Annapolis is a short drive form the United States Naval Academy and comprises 102 suites designed for the extended stay business or pleasure traveler. Each of the suites has a separate living and sleeping area and a fully equipped kitchen. Items included with the room rate at this two-story, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, a managers reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one room available for business or social meetings that can accommodate 30 guests. The hotel is 30 miles from Washington DC. Other area landmarks and attractions include two golf courses, the Maryland State Capitol Building, the City Dock and downtown Annapolis, Annapolis Sailing School, Six Flags America theme park, the National Zoo, Quiet Waters Park and shopping at Arundel Mills Mall and the Westfields Shopping Mall.

Most guests had a great time at this Residence Inn. Many couples said it was an ideal place for a weekend getaway. The suites were spacious and well equipped and the employees had lots of helpful information for visitors to the area. There were however complaints from pet owners who thought the $150 sanitation fee was excessive. It is one of the highest fees charged anywhere. However non-pet owners said they would stay here again while the pet lovers said they would look elsewhere where the costs for the family pooch were lower.
