We recently spent 4 days in Annapolis to attend our son's wedding. Many family members choose the Annapolis Waterfront Marriott as their hotel because of it's perfect location. At any given time there were at least 12 - 16 of us visiting the shops, gathering for lunch or taking a walk to enjoy an ice cream or a cup of coffee. The smaller children released some of their energy at the school playground across the street. Having a full restaurant at the hotel was convenient for room service, breakfast, and assembling for dinner and drinks in the evening. Staying there made our great event even more perfect.

All of the hotel staff were very accommodating, providing a mini frig, helping with small children, providing adjoining rooms.

Room containing 2 double beds were small.

The staff was first class in their assistance to their guests. The rooms are appointed beautifully and were very comfortable. The Naval Academy, restaurants and tourist sites are within walking distance although a good hike for some.

The hotel was within walking distance of all the places that we needed to visit.

Needed two doubles but they only had a king. The calk in the bathroom needed whitening.

The 149-room Annapolis Marriott Waterfront combines 18th century splendor with modern day luxuries. The six-story, non-smoking luxury hotel greets visitors with picturesque views of the Chesapeake Bay. Only items included in the room rates are local telephone calls and coffee in the room. The property has over 5,600 square feet of flexible meeting space capable of handling 500 guests for social or business functions. Attractions and landmarks close to the hotel include the City Dock in downtown Annapolis, the U.S. Naval Academy, St. Johns College, the Maryland State Capitol building and the Navy Marine Corps Stadium.

This, according to many who have stayed here, is one of the best Marriott properties in the U.S. It has elegance, luxury and a great waterfront location. Many say that is pricey - but they come back again for more. And the room rate is just the start of it. There is a $10 per day charge for Internet and $19 for parking. Plus points were the incredible service, live music on the waterfront and the big flat screen TVs in every room.
