The Marriott-The Inn & Conference Center at University of Maryland is a elegant environmentally friendly hotel located in Adelphi next to the University of Maryland, and only a short 10 miles to downtown Washington DC. The hotel,with its focus on energy saving and utilizing recyclable materials, is the first in the United State's to receive LEED certification from the US Green Building Council. In addition to being environmentally friendly the hotel is also very people friendly, welcoming guests with top-notch friendly service, luxurious accommodations, and a vast array of amenities. Conveniently located the hotel puts guests within close proximity to many of the area's popular activities and attractions, as well as numerous shopping and dining destinations.

The Marriott-The Inn & Conference Center at University of Maryland is located very close to the UM Campus in a quiet and safe area. Guest rooms are nicely appointed with very comfortable plush beds, but it has been mentioned by some that the guest rooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side--some guests feeling they were crowded or tight. Some guests have also noted that the hotel consists of two buildings with the newer building having the more preferable accommodations. The on-site Starbucks is fantastic, but the other on-site cafe/dining options are hit or miss. The staff members at the hotel are for the most part friendly and helpful. Read our customer reviews?

The beautifully appointed 237 guest rooms at the Marriott-The Inn & Conference Center at University of Maryland are spread out over 5 floors in this smoke-free hotel. Each guest room features cable television with HBO/CNN/ESPN and pay-per-view movies, free high speed internet access, electrical adapters, and individual climate control. Additional in-room amenities include work desk with lamp and ergonomic chair, bathrobes, hair dryer, alarm clock, iron/ironing board, two line telephone with voicemail, sofa bed, and refrigerator as well as in-room coffee and tea. Upon request cribs and rollaway beds are available. Upgraded suites offer plug & play multimedia outlets. The comfortable beds in the guest rooms help provide a restful night's sleep with down comforter, fluffy pillows, lovely duvet covers, and luxurious sheets.

I-95 South to exit 27(495 West/US 1). Stay left immediately after the split and follow signs to Rt. 1 College Park. Take Exit 25B to US 1 South, and travel .9 mi. Take ramp onto Rt. 193 West, and at the 3rd traffic light (Adelphi Road), make a U-Turn. Take an immediate right into UMUC Campus. Follow signs to the Inn & Conference Center.
