My stay was great, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the breakfast buffet was great!

Location, staff very helpful, food was good.

The pool could have been warmer. A working ice maker was 3 floors up.

Although this hotel suited my needs for my business travel, I would not stay again. I was put in a smoking room which was actually not so bad. However well ventilated the room is it still gets in your clothes. The lobby is nice but small, but rooms, hallways, restaurant very dark - very little light. I did not feel very comfortable my entire stay. But rooms and bathrooms are clean and well-kept.

They welcome you with cookies upon arrival.

Holiday Inn Aberdeen-Chesapeake House is ideal for leisure and business travelers. Centrally located in the city of Aberdeen, just off I-95, it is near the Aberdeen Proving Ground, Ripken Stadium, Baltimore Inner Harbor/Aquarium, and the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum. At the inn kids eat free, there is an indoor pool, and the Business Services with Executive Floors and Suites are exemplary. Located in a suburban area (30 miles north of downtown Baltimore) dining and shopping are within close proximity. Outdoor activities such as golfing and shopping are within walking distance. The Baltimore Convention Center is 30 miles away. At the end of a busy day, guests can relax in the well-equipped and comfortably furnished guest rooms and look forward to a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning.

Each one of the 120 Guest Rooms at the 5-story Holiday Inn Aberdeen-Chesapeake House features a mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, tea maker, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, cable/satellite TV, and a complimentary morning newspaper delivered to the room. The guest rooms were renovated in 2008 featuring new mattresses, bedding, and bathroom products and feature high speed internet access and wireless data connection. Phone service includes voice mail and a speaker phone. Each room has individualy controlled air conditioning units. A comfortable and well-lit work desk with chair and desk level electrical outlet is in each guest room. Connecting rooms and rollaway beds can be requested. There are eight handicap accessible guest rooms. Guest rooms can be accessed by interior corridors.

Guests are treated each morning to a complimentary buffet breakfast (kids eat free!) at the Holiday Inn Aberdeen-Chesapeake House. In addition, the on-site "Smitty's Pub" is a full-service dining room and lounge with an Irish theme offering daily dinner specials (including local seafood favorites). The Holiday Inn Aberdeen-Chespeake House has recently renovated its guest rooms and now features new and super-comfy beds and bed linens. The decor is cheerful, and the indoor pool is really beautiful. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet offers a nice variety of breakfast choices, and it's nice that there is an on-site restaurant/pub. The staff seems to be considerate and helpful.
