A great place to stay. You appreciate the proximity to the wharf area and enjoy the short walks to just about everywhere in downtown Portland. The staff was very friendly, the room spacious and clean and meticulously cared for. The parking garage very easy to keep and assess car to take nearby jaunts. The view was great overlooking Casco Bay. Portland is a great big town city with a eclectic fresh air feel. The people in the area are friendly, happy and wonderful sources of places to see and go.

The hotel was centrally located within walking distance of a beautiful old cobblestone waterfront area and had a great view of Casco Bay.

The windows did not open and the room tended to get hot even though the weather was spectacular in the high 60's.

Wonderful location that allows you to enjoy a great city easily. Parking in the garage very convenient.

The swimming pool was great.

It is a holiday. It provides the services needed and the location with out going overboard. I think it might be good if you have business in the area. We traveled up by train and was able to walk about the city and waterfront easily and also get a shuttle to and from the train station.

I liked the view from our room and the closeness to everything.

There was a sock in the room left from the last person.

Several couples said this Holiday Inn proved ideal for a romantic weekend getaway. The hotel was elegant, not too expensive, and the location ideal within walking distance of the Old Port with its shops and restaurants. The terrific team of employees had helpful hints about where to dine and the large indoor swimming pool was a great place to relax. Most visitors said they would certainly stay here on future visits to Maine and had no problem recommending the property to fellow travelers.
