If you like to be away from Freeport, yet still be somewhat accessible, and you have a family and/or pet accompanying you, this may be the place for you. I do not recommend it for a romantic getaway or if you are averse to pets. The breakfast at the restaurant was not satisfactory. The eggs were runny, the coffee was stale and the waitress consistently forgot items we ordered. And the wheat toast is not wheat; it's a crusty white bread. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning and heat were very good.

Somewhat attractive location (if you don't look at the highway), great A/C.

Are pets allowed? - There should be specific rooms then that are used. Since people can be highly allergic to pets and we saw a couple loads their cat back into their vehicle that is disgusting to think they let pets and their dander in all over the rooms.

Unlike many of the other hotels in Freeport Maine, the Best Western Freeport Inn is not located directly on the Interstate. As such, guests loved the fact that they were actually able to get a good night's sleep without being disturbed by the noises of the highway. Many guests said that they would return to the Best Western Freeport Inn simply to enjoy the blueberry pancakes that are served at the Freeport Cafe. Dogs love this hotel because it allows them to stay with their owners.
