The hotels home page advertised they had bar fridges in some rooms. I requested one and was told by desk clerked they were forbidden by management to move them around?

Dinner was fast and hot.

Breakfast was slow and cold.

The hotel was older, the staff was friendly and helped me with a small issue I had that was not related to the hotel. I was impressed with the staff mostly, during my 4 day stay. They remembered my name and my purpose for staying in their town. As a corporate compliance officer for a worldwide company, I can honestly say that this was a positive experience and would recommend the hotel to anyone. Thank you!

The hotel and it's staff were very accommodating and friendly.

I do not have any negative aspects to report.

If we were to go back to Bangor we would stay there again, providing we get better beds.

The room was clean and I liked that the drinking glasses were wrapped in plastic and not just set out on the counter.

The bed were not as comfortable as we thought they should be for the price.

Howard Johnson Inn Bangor is a good jump off point to indulge in much of what the city of Bangor has to offer. Among attractions in the Bangor area are the University of Maine , Husson College , the Bangor Casino, the Historic Track, the Bangor Mall, the Bangor Civic Center and the Bangor Auditorium. If traveling with the family, visit Acadia National Park. The 24-hour front desk offers fax and photocopy services. If you ever need a bit of a pick me up, feel free to get some coffee from the lobby at any time. For guests convenience, wireless internet access is provided throughout the hotel. The hotels parking areas are RV and Truck accessible. If youre traveling with family you should take them to the family fun park located nearby or go to see a movie across the street. You wont have to go far from this hotel to find fishing, golfing, sailing and skiing services that are rendered.
