We were in town for a short time. This hotel was great for that and easy to find.

For a full hotel the place was quiet and I slept great. Room size was more than adequate. Breakfast was nice and a clean dining room.

very disappoined - posted on 11/23/2006

My husband and three children went to Bangor on a family fun shopping trip. Well it was no fun at all. Our beds were hard as rocks, but that is not the bad part. Some other guest had a barking dog ALL NIGHT LONG. Not to mention our television flicked on and off all night long.

You get what you pay for. - posted on 10/23/2006

Front desk clerks were very unprofessional and unhelping, acted like they did not want to be there. Too busy with cell phones and boyfriends.

Good Accomodations for Little Money - posted on 10/18/2006

The hotel was clean and quiet. We were looking for a cheap place to stay that didn't look cheap and we found it. Would definitely reccommend.

We just stayed overnight on our way to Canada. Great location, just off the freeway. Nice clean room & comfortable bed. Easy for pets. Would recommend.

Good stay - posted on 12/20/2005

Was a good over-night stay on the way to Boston. Room was clean, but there was some damage in the bathroom prior to our arrival. Price was right; all in all was a good stay. I had a bad experience at Econolodge in Malden, Mass., last spring.

We had a great stay! - posted on 12/19/2005

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The rates were so reasonable that we didn't expect much, but we certainly got our money's worth and then some! We plan to return to Bangor in the next few months and we will definitley stay there again!

This hotel was very pet friendly and accomodating. I would definitely recommend it to other pet owners and show people.

Great room for the price - posted on 06/16/2005

We stayed only one night, but room was clean and ready for arrival. I thought it was great for the price, usually when you pay low rates like that you get what you pay for, but this was more like a hotel almost twice the rate. I would definitely stay there again...

I booked two rooms on line and was charged reservation fees for SIX rooms. I both called and faxed a request to have the extra reservation charges removed, but to date, they have not been. I won't use Hotels by City again.
