Loved the hotel! Hated the weak wireless signal! I travel with a desktop pc. I couldn't send an important file to my home office. The public computers in the business center had no way to load a copy of the file from a USB thumb drive on to their PC so I could email the file. I had to find a public library to mail my file!

This hotel is not for those who require or expect luxury or nearby shopping and amenities, but overall, this was one of the friendliest, most accommodating places we stayed in our 14 night trip. It was several miles from Bangor, but had easy interstate access. The business center was small but had everything we needed - free! The giant cookies at check-in and the short bios of the US Presidents' wives in the hallway were unexpected treats.

Great hospitality, quality continental breakfast & cookies at check-in. Free computer, internet, printer access.

3rd floor room had only a skylight in a low, slanted ceiling.

The front desk staff was very polite and accommodating and was able to get me into my room with 35 minutes of my arriving. I really appreciated this as I was going on 24 hours without any sleep because of my odd schedule that day.

Off Interstate 95, Best Western White House Inn is comfortable retreat that features inviting and tastefully appointed common areas that will give you a feeling of home. In the surrounding area outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate being able to find a variety of activities, including hiking, golfing and water sports. Nearby points of interest include the Cole Land Transportation Museum, the Maine Discovery Museum and the Bangor State Fairgrounds. For leisure, visitors can try out nearby Acadia National Park or take the family to Blackbeard's Amusement Center or the popular Acadia Zoo. Business travelers will appreciate being so close the Georgia Pacific Paper Mill and Fort James Corporation. If you´d rather stay at the hotel, you can engage in some volleyball or badminton on the premises. Mornings will be something to look forward to as a complimentary continental breakfast spread is served daily. Leisure visitors may appreciate the hotels location as it is very convenient to the interstate and main attractions. The staff is welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Accommodations are very large, immaculate and have comfortable mattresses and feature microwave, refrigerator and large TV screen all of which are in perfect shape. Bathroom utilities are spotless. The pool and gym are very well-kept. The food items provided at breakfast are very nice and varied, eggs, yogurt and waffles are included. The restaurant next door features delicious food. Having laundry facilities is a plus. The hotel includes huge space for pets outdoors.
