Centrally situated just north of Augusta State Airport, Comfort Inn Civic Center is a neat and modern lodging located just minutes from local attractions. First time visitors to the area can’t miss the University of Maine, the Maine State Museum and for families, the Children’s Discovery Museum. Although upon first glance this looks like a tip top modern property, it actually requires proper upkeep in a number of areas. One of the most noticeable is the leaky roofs that produce mold and rust throughout the hotel. The swimming pool is very cold, and its corresponding women’s bathroom is poorly maintained. Despite this the staff is friendly, rooms are rather clean, though small, and beds are above average. The free breakfast is also a worthwhile treat. Read our customer reviews?
