Guests report that, while the building is impressive and the location perfect, the staff are not at all helpful and take a superior attitude toward guests. Also, the street outside is quite noisy night and day, so this is not the right hotel for light sleepers. Some of the rooms are beautiful, but others are dilapidated and awkwardly furnished, so booking a room here is a gamble. Guests also report that many charges are tacked on when they check in, including extra charges for local phone calls (whether or not you use the phone) and an in room safe (again, whether or not you use it), making this not quite the good deal it initially seems.
