The 223-room Holiday Inn Express French Quarter Downtown is an historic New Orleans hotel within walking distance of the area nightlife and famous restaurants and the antique shops and art galleries on Royal Street. Items included with the room rate at this eight story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room tea and coffee and a morning newspaper. There are eight meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 200 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the New Orleans Convention Center, the Louisiana Superdome and New Orleans Arena, the Riverwalk shopping area, Harrah's Casino, Aquarium of the Americas, the arts and warehouse districts, Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral, the French Market, the National WW II Museum and the New Orleans cemeteries which are three miles from the hotel.

Location, location. That’s what visitors to New Orleans loved about this Holiday Inn Express which is one block from Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. The rooms were not luxurious but the top notch team of employees who knew about the best places to wine, and dine, more than compensated for that. There were good comments about the complimentary breakfast and most guests said they planned to return to this hotel on future visits to the area and had no problem recommending the property to fellow travelers.
