The 208 all-suites SpringHill Suites by Marriott New Orleans Convention Center is located in the city’s Warehouse-Arts District and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the pleasure and business traveler. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is two blocks from the N.O. Cruise Terminal. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are four rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 150 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include numerous golf courses, the French Quarter, Harrah's Casino, the National D-Day Museum, Bourbon Street, the Superdome, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Canal Street, the Louisiana Children’s Museum, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, the Confederate Museum and a Six Flags theme park.

Travelers to New Orleans say this hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of the French Quarter, but far enough way to be less expensive than the downtown hotels. The employees are credited with giving excellent service and the suites are clean and spacious. Words of warning from those who have stayed here: It can get noisy at night from the nearby bars and clubs which are open until the wee hours of the morning. All the suites have a pantry area, wet bar, refrigerator and microwave oven. Other features are a work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. Video games and players are available for rent.

This hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness facility. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there is sundry store on-site with snacks and beverages. From New Orleans Airport (MSY) 15.4 miles: Turn left on US-61 go 9 miles. Bear right to take I-10 East towards Westbank (US-90-BUS) and go 1.4 miles. I-10 East becomes US-90-BUS West. -Go 1.4 miles. Take Carondelet Street exit towards St Charles Avenue, Go 0.2 miles, Turn Left on Carondelet Street. Go 0.2 miles, Turn right on St Joseph Street where the hotel is located.
