I have been to New Orleans before and was looking for a hotel that had the atmosphere of the French Quarters. This had atmosphere but the amenities of the larger hotels. The service was excellent. You truly felt as though you were their personal guest and they were there to please. The rooms were very nice and clean with the luxuries you would expect. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. I will stay there when I return to New Orleans. Also, I felt very secure at this location. Many people are hesitant to return to New Orleans because of the crime but I felt very safe here.

The service was excellent. The atmosphere was what you would want for this city.

A very pleasing and unexpected find; I've passed it many times outside without knowing the beauty that lay within. My wife will be impressed, not an easy feat.

Beautiful sinks, plush robes, good sound system.

Very expensive parking fee, no shades on windows (sunlight streams right in).

I am an ardent fan of the W Hotel chain. I have been sold every time with their lavish decor, world-class hospitality, and beaming modernity. And the best part about this hotel, besides being a W Hotel, is that is located in the heart of New Orleans, in the French Quarter. I shopped, dined, mingled, and overall had a blast. The location of the hotel also cuts out the taxi costs if you want to stay local and frolic through the streets of the metropolis. The accommodations allow you to say "bonne nuit" with utter confidence and satisfaction. Mardi Gras in New Orleans is not only cliche, but a must!
