Clean rooms with good value rates. Not a good place for execs on extended stay. Valet parking was atrocious. The outsides of the room doors are dirty (lots of dirty scuff marks from shoes or something). This is probably a good place for a large group on a travel budget - good for conventions held nearby. The workout facility is not very good for a long term stay - weight machine is outdated and not very useful. This establishment did not uphold the Marriot experience that I'm accustomed too.

As always, you can't go wrong with any Marriott hotel. Close to convention center, free high speed internet, clean room and property, and more than adequate breakfast. Didn't use the "social hour" (in New Orleans, you have to eat Cajun over and over, preferably at Mother's).
