We had a great stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located near the French Quarter as well as both the Canal and St. Charles street care lines, although we chose not to walk after dark due to the area feeling unsafe. The pool was very nice after a long day of sightseeing. We would stay there again.
The location was close to everything that we wanted to see. The pool was great.
Due to crime in the area, we didn't feel safe walking at night. But the cab fare was only $5 to the French Quarter.

The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were very spacious, the bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and the balcony was a plus! Although the direct surroundings of the hotel don't look so impressive, don't be fooled, the area really isn't that bad. Everything was within a few blocks walking distance and the path back felt very safe- and this is coming from two 22 year old girls during the first weekend of mardi gras. The only downside was that you had to pay for parking, however, the fee was reasonable and the garage seemeed very secure. Overall good expereince, decent price, would stay again for sure! Oh, and very easy access to the interstate!

Great location, just a couple blocks from Canal st., rooms with balconies, breakfast not free, it's $8.00 buffet.
Looked like all rooms had balconies for fresh air.
Many military police housed throughout hotel.

If you must, get some work done at the desk via high speed Internet access and then treat yourself to an in-room movie. Although there are many more luxurious hotels in New Orleans, this hotel is quiet, clean, comfortable and reasonable. The complimentary shuttle is a real plus!
