I am young and was on a weekend of fun with one of my best friends. This hotel was absolutely what we needed for such a weekend. It was priced wonderfully, it was clean, the shower worked (thank god!), and the Location was great. We were able to walk to the parties on bourbon street and still make it back to our room safely without having to pay for a cab or anything.

Location and price. It was exactly what I needed for the weekend.

Nothing I was really glad my price worked for this hotel.

Nice, clean, friendly, helpful and perfect location. Upgrade was very welcome. Probably, because I asked, if there was a fridge in the room. Standard is without fridge. No elevator access without room key safe feeling. All is more than I expected.

Much better than the time before I stayed there. I was even upgraded!

No negative comment. Certainly for $37.

A string of antique shops line Royal Street, and amidst these shops is the Holiday Inn. Constructed in 1969, the 20 story structure features a well-lit and elegantly decorated lobby. With hardwood furnishings and artwork on the wall, the hotel does not seem like a budget hotel. Although the hotel is for people trying to save a few bucks, it still boasts a charm like the rest of Bourbon and Royal and it possesses a beauty that other Holiday Inns in the country do not have. Roughly a few steps from New Orleans Riverwalk, 124 Royal Street is a very convenient location but apart from its convenience, it also offers personalized service.
