The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Monroe is located in Northeast Louisiana's largest shopping mall and provides accommodation equally suited to the extended stay business or pleasure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking hotel consists of 66 suites with separate living and sleeping areas and a fully equipped kitchen. This hotel gets great reviews for its comfortable, clean accommodation and reasonable rates. The employees are appreciated for being efficient and friendly and many guests said the complimentary breakfast made a great start to the day. One snag is that the property is adjacent to an active rail system. The hotel does provide earplugs. Despite the noise problem, many clients say they will continue to use this hotel and will even recommend it to friends and family.
