The hotel met my expection and more. The lobby and rooms are nicely decorated in a warm and cozy setting. I highly recommend this hotel not only for the class and comfort but for the services and friendliness of each staff member. The hotel is located near all the main attractions of the city of New Orleans, La.

Most imp feel safe, but also clean & friendly, helpful staff.

Some mold in bathtub area.

This hotel was one of the best I've ever stayed in. It was clean and comfortable. It's location was awesome and the staff was always there to help with whatever you needed. It was my first time in that state and in that region and I almost loved the hotel more than the entire place.

The staff was more than friendly, they were like friends. They had a great attitude.

They needed to sauna and microwaves and mini-fridges in the room.

The 153-room Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans Metairie has easy access to I-10 and downtown New Orleans and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price equally suited to the business or pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this six-story, non-smoking hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are three meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 125 guests. The hotel is close to the East Jefferson Hospital, Lakeside Hospital and Avondale Shipyard. Other area landmarks and attractions include numerous golf courses, Harrah's Casino, the National D-Day Museum, Bourbon Street, Destrehan Plantation, the Superdome, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Canal Street, the Louisiana Childrens Museum, the Aquarium of the Americas, the Confederate Museum and the Six Flags New Orleans theme park.

Several guests who stayed at this Courtyard said it a great alternative to staying in downtown New Orleans. The rates here are lower than comparable accommodation in the city, parking is free and there is a lot more space, and a swimming pool. It is a short drive to the famed Bourbon Street and French Quarter. The staff here was credited with being efficient and friendly and most clients say they will use this hotel again. Most guests had no hesitation in recommending the property to others.
