Great place for business or pleasure. Large rooms that are nicely furnished. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Nice and reasonably priced restaurant. Not much to dislike.

The 220-room Marriott New Orleans Metairie is located on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain and provides luxury accommodation designed for the upmarket business and pleasure traveler. Visitors to Metairie say this is a marvelous Marriott and the best place to stay in town. Many guests stayed here rather than in downtown New Orleans. They said it was a $20 taxi ride to the French Quarter and after a session there it was nice to return to this quiet oasis. There were good reviews about an attentive and friendly team of workers, very comfortable beds and reasonable rates for luxury facilities. Most clients were impressed with the views of the 24-mile Causeway Bridge that the hotel enjoys and said they would definitely stay at this hotel again.
