The staff was exceedingly pleasant and very helpful. The elevator went out the second day of our trip. The room we had requested online was not available, and we had to choose between a room with a king bed on the smoking floor or a room with two queens. The room was large and quite comfortable once we got settled.

Comfort Inn & Suites hotel is a comfortably appointed retreat that features a variety of useful amenities to ensure a well rounded stay. Downtown Covington is easily accessible from here as the property is located near I-12 which leads directly into the heart of the city. Visiting families can go on outings to Global Wildlife Center and enjoy a nice a day at Fairview-Riverside State Park. History buffs can also visit close by Ponchatoula, which has been called American´s Antique City. Other local attractions include The Three Rivers Art Festival, The Ozone Film Festival and The Covington Farmers Market. Mornings will be something to look forward to as a complimentary breakfast spread is served daily, which can be enjoyed while tapping onto wireless high-speed internet.

The hotel is very conveniently located near New Orleans, kind of 35 miles away after crossing Pontchartrain bridge. The front desk is usually efficient and pleasant, as well as accommodating. Guestrooms are well decorated and feature quality bedding. Public areas are comfortable though the décor could do with some renovating. Breakfast features several morning favorites to please a variety of tastes. The business center makes a nice comfortable and spacious recluse for getting work done. Some guests might find rates a bit overpriced for the area.
