This is fine for one or two nights. It is too small for long term stays. I would definitely stay here again, as the price was very reasonable.

Clean, easy freeway access, friendly staff.

Room is very small, but has all of the basics.

Microtel Inn may not be well known, but they offer a wonderful array of amenities for the budget traveler. Rooms provide everything you need to get up and go in the morning, from coffee makers to hair dryers to data ports in all rooms. Guests receive premium cable television with ESPN and a movie channel, a complimentary breakfast spread, and express/online check-in and check-out. In addition, the Bossier City hotel provides free local and free long distance calls (continental U.S. only) as well as free wireless high-speed internet access. The majority of people staying here would stay again, and many would recommend it to friends. That's always a good sign. Unfortunately, their number one complaint is room size. If you have more than two people in your party, you might want to opt for a hotel that offers more space. If you do stay here however, know that your wi-fi will work, the television reception is good, and the free morning breakfast? It's wonderful. One guest reported his bill was significantly higher than the rates stated, and the desk clerk was rude and unhelpful. Other guests say the staff was excellent, so this may have been a rotten apple. As it stands, this is a good place for budget-minded travelers to stay in the Shreveport/Bossier area.
