The 90 all-suites TownePlace Suites by Marriott Baton Rouge is one mile from Interstates 10 and 12 and offers affordable extended stay accommodation for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The pet-friendly property offers three different floor plans each having a fully equipped kitchen. Items included with the room rate as high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is within easy driving distance of several golf courses, the Louisiana State Capitol, Friends of Baton Rouge Zoo, Louisiana State University and the Blue Bayou Water Park.

Towneplace Suites by Marriott Baton Rouge Accommodations

All the suites have separate living and sleeping areas and a work desk with complimentary high-speed Internet access. The kitchens come with a refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, conventional and microwave oven, coffeemaker, toaster and cutlery and crockery. Other amenities include cable television with movie channels and pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, IDD telephone with voicemail, hair dryer, alarm clock and an iron and ironing board.

The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center. There is no restaurant on-site but several places to eat close by including a Copeland’s Restaurant, Piccadilly Cafeteria and a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, a list of restaurants that will deliver and information on area events and attractions. There is a copy and fax machine available for guest use. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, vending machines and a picnic area with barbecue grill.
