The hotel staff was excellent in thier help. The hotel is very conveniently located to many attractions. They had a good security system, which enabled us to feel safe even though we were actually staying downtown.

The location to the things we wanted to attend.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Louisville Downtown is located in the center of the citys medical district with University, Jewish and Norton Hospitals all within walking distance. The six story, non-smoking hotel is designed for the extended stay business or leisure traveler. The 140 suites have fully equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, a managers reception with a light meal on Monday through Thursday evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are four meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 75 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include six golf courses, Waterfront Park, Louisville Slugger Museum, Louisville Glassworks, the Muhammad Ali Center, the Jim Bean Distillery and Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby.

Many extended stay guests say this is an excellent Residence Inn with a happy crew of employees always eager to help. The rates are reasonable when you make use of all the items included in the room charges. The evening socials with a light dinner were much enjoyed. It was a great place to meet new friends and trade travel tales. Most guests said they would recommend this hotel to others and they planned to stay here on future visits to Louisville.
