This hotel is a great stay! It's a new hotel that is very clean and trendy. The bathrooms are clean, and the beds are plush and comfortable. The location is great: within walking distance to shopping, dining, and nightlife at Fourth Street Live. Don't forget to ask about special weekend rates.

Hampton Inn - Very Nice Hotel - posted on 08/30/2006

I stayed in this hotel while a family member received a transplant at the Jewish Hospital in Lousiville. I only booked here for convenience to the hospital, however, I was very impressed with this hotel - it was nicer than some hotels I had stayed at on vacation. Very clean. The people in Louisville are very friendly. Also in close proximity of downtown / restaurants.

Staff Complaint - posted on 04/29/2004

The staff was not helpful and negligently rude at times. They would not let me check in until 3:30 pm. They left me in the lobby waiting for two and a half hours. They gave excuses of being short-handed in house keeping and having been sold out the prior night. They put me in a smoking room after I reserved a non-smoking room. They told me that it would be an even longer wait for the non-smoking after I complained. During this time they were less than considerate of my inconvenience.
