Hyatt Regency Louisville in Louisville Kentucky

The layout of this hotel is horrible for anything but a conference and even then there will be problems if everyone arrives together. They booked 2 conferences at once and there was a herd waiting for 3 very slow elevators. The parking, fitness room, and pool are all difficult to get to. Room views are all of brick building walls. Rooms were mediocre. The cafe had quite good food though. Overall not suitable for families or leisure travelers.

I was given a room overlooking a big gray brick wall. I was attending a conference, so I didn't make a big deal out of it. The bed was wonderful, the room was very clean, the pool was nice and I took a dip at 6:30 am, but only on my first day, as the temp. of the water was alittle too cold to be relaxing. The reason I would not suggest staying at this hotel was the morning noise level. Twice I was woken up at 6:00 am when they turned on the "background music." As each room opens on to the atrium, the music, (noise at 6am) will wake you up unless you are a super sound sleeper.

We were travelling with our granddaughter and found the people and accomadations wonderful.
