The 141-room Courtyard by Marriott Louisville East provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business and leisure traveler. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is located in the Hurstbourne area near Bluegrass Industrial Park. The hotel has an on-site The Market, which is always open and has a wide range of snacks and beverages. Items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are two rooms available for social or business functions. The larger can accommodate 40 guests. Nearby landmarks and attractions include two golf courses, the University of Louisville, the Kentucky International Convention Center, Churchill Downs and the Louisville Slugger Museum. Corporate offices close to the hotel include General Electric, Ford, UPS and Allstate.

Many first time visitors to Louisville enjoyed their stay at this Courtyard. The lobby area and the clean and spacious accommodation impressed them. Some clients had a problem with the front desk staff while others said all the employees were friendly and efficient. All the guestrooms, and 12 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, pullout sofa bed, and telephone with voicemail. Some rooms have the added benefit of a microwave oven. Video games and players are available for rent.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool and an exercise room. The Courtyard Café is open for breakfast and there are several restaurants nearby including a Bob Evans, Bonefish Grill, Smokey Bones BBQ, an Olive Garden and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, information on area events and attractions and a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel. Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry, fax and copying services, valet dry-cleaning, vending machines, a gift shop and newsstand and a picnic area with a barbecue grill.

From Louisville Airport (SDF) 12 miles: Take I-264 East to I-64 East. Take I-64 East to Exit 15 to ramp C (North Hurstbourne Parkway). As you exit the ramp, get into left lane (use caution). At the light (by Olive Garden) make a left turn onto Caritas Way. Make the next immediate left onto Liberty Bank Lane. Take to Blairwood Road. Turn right. The Courtyard is on the left.
