This was the nicest Holiday Inn Express that we have ever stayed in. The rooms were very clean. I appreciated the new linens that were used on our beds to replace the old bedspreads that are typically found in hotels. The staff was very courteous and helpful. There was a very nice continental breakfast with the breakfast area clean and the food good for the typical continental breakfast.

The hot tub jets were not working again. I would guess out of four stays there only one time did the jets work. I like the breakfast bar, however they wait until there is nothing left of an item prior to re-filling that item and I saw folks go up and come back empty because they were out of something. I understand they do not want to waste and do not want to put out more than needed, but when the room is half full and they are out of eggs, sausage and bananas someone needs to get busy. The old southern hospitality goes out the door with the breakfast bar lady, she quietly moved around and did not even speak when spoken to. She could have been friendly. I am comfortable staying there when we visit family and feel safe which says something as that is not an easy statement for me to make at most places. I would feel comfortable staying there alone and be just fine. I did use the computer in the lobby, but one couple tended to stay on a long time and had to wait quite a while to access it. I looked two or three times and they were still on it.
