The 87-room Courtyard by Marriott Wichita East is located close to the Wichita expressways and provides affordable accommodation for both the business and leisure traveler. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The three story, non-smoking hotel has one meeting room for social or business functions that can accommodate 80 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include six golf courses, the Kansas Coliseum, the Wichita Greyhound Park, McConnell Air Force Base, the Sedgwick County Zoo, the Great Plains Nature Center and the Cosmosphere and Space Center.

Many clients say this is not the best Courtyard in the world but the accommodation is clean and comfortable and the employees are very friendly and efficient. The rates are also reasonable. Several clients said the breakfast buffet – with a wide variety of hot and cold items – offered good value for money. A plus asset for computer users was the free Internet access, which is charged for at some neighboring hotels. Courtyard by Marriott Wichita East Accommodations

All the guestrooms, and three suites, have a large work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, television with cable movie and news channels, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. Some rooms are equipped with a microwave oven and a Jacuzzi.

The hotel has an indoor-outdoor connecting swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The Courtyard Café is only open for breakfast but there are several restaurants a short drive from the property including Johnny Carino's, PF Changs China Bistro and the Redrock Canyon Grill. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include fax and copying services, vending machines, a coin-operated laundry and valet dry-cleaning.
