The pet-friendly TownePlace Suites by Marriott Wichita East provides inexpensive spacious accommodation for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The three-story, non-smoking property comprises 82 suites all with a fully equipped kitchen. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area landmarks and attractions include six golf courses, the Kansas Coliseum, the Wichita Greyhound Park, McConnell Air Force Base, the Sedgwick County Zoo, the Great Plains Nature Center and the Cosmosphere and Space Center.

All the suites have a kitchen with a refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, conventional and microwave oven, stove, coffeemaker, toaster oven and cutlery and crockery. Other amenities include a work desk with high-speed Internet access, cable television with movie channels, VCR player, pullout sofa bed, two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, hairdryer, alarm clock and an iron and ironing board.

The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are numerous restaurants nearby including the Black Canyon Grill, PF Chang’s China Bistro and the Scotch and Sirloin Steakhouse. From Wichita Airport (ICT) 15 miles: Take US 54 east from Wichita Airport. Take Hwy 54/400 East Exit (also known as Kellogg) approximately 10 miles to Webb Road. Take Webb Road North (left) approximately five miles to 29th Street. Go West (left) on 29th Street and turn right into parking lot. The TownePlace Suites is at the corner of 29th Street and Webb Road.
