The Topeka Courtyard by Marriott is positioned in the business and entertainment corridor of the Kansas State Capital. There are several recreational opportunities awaiting you while you stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Topeka. Pay a visit to the local bicycle trail, or the jogging and fitness trail. Golfers will be glad that this Courtyard is so close to the beautiful Shawnee County County Club. There are several other attractions and landmarks nearby, including the world famous Forbes Field, Heartland Park, the Kansas State Capitol Building, Lake Shawnee, the Kansas Expo Center and the Landon Arena, and the Topeka Zoo. Visitors to the Courtyard by Marriott Topeka also enjoy being close to the Washburn University campus ad shopping at the Westridge Mall.

Unfortunately all of the online reviewers had bad things to say about this hotel. One was upset before she even walked into her room when she discovered a tray outside her door that was obviously from the night before. When she went into her room she discovered that it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly, and she found a message under the toilet seat, written in lipstick from a previous guest. Another guest complained that when he went to visit the jogging trail mentioned on the hotel website, the desk clerk had no idea what he was talking about.
