Words of advice from those who have stayed here: If you are a light sleeper, get a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the expressway. The hotel is near the exit ramp and traffic noise can be a nuisance. Most guests say they will use this inn on future visits to Topeka and have no hesitation in recommending the property to others. All the suites have a fireplace and a kitchen with conventional oven and microwave oven, stovetop, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and a full set of cutlery and crockery. From Kansas City Airport (MCI) 75 miles: Take I-29 North to I-435 South to I-70 West, Exit 356 - Wanamaker Road, south to 17th Street, left on 17th to Westport, left on Westport. From Forbes Field Airport (FOE) 10 miles: Go north on SE J Street to SE 1st Street S. Then left onto 1st Street N. Turn right on SW Topeka Boulevard, left on SW 57, merge onto US 75N, exit 21st Street, exit 2. Turn left on 21st Street then right on Wanamaker, right on 17th Street, and left onto Westport.
