I discovered that their guest rooms and other amenities are a cut above most other hotel chains, not only in terms of guest rooms, but also food and service. Their courtyard concept is very conducive to a pleasant stay.

Lower level rooms that open onto the courtyard.

King, spa Jacuzzis do not have enough jets.

I have stayed in this hotel previously and have attended meetings there, also. Some of the upscale rooms are a bit pricey, but generally worth it. The only problem I had with this visit was that apparently a previous guest had used bubble-bath in the Jacuzzi and there was a bathtub ring of soap scum left in the tub!

It was nice; the mushroom and Swiss burgers were excellent!

The Jacuzzi in the king, spa room had not been properly cleaned.

The 80-room Courtyard by Marriott Salina provides quality accommodation at an affordable price equally suited to the business or leisure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is close to the Rolling Hills Zoo, Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts, Bicentennial Center, Smoky Hill Vineyard and Winery, Smoky Hill Museum and the Salina Community Theatre. Items included with the room rate are local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. One meeting room for business or social functions can accommodate 200 guests. Corporate offices close to the hotel include Philips Lighting, Tony's Pizza, Exide Technologies, Raytheon Aircraft and El Dorado National. Schools within a short drive include Kansas Wesleyan University, Kansas State University-Salina, The Brown Mackie College, Bethany College and St. John's Military School.

This is the best place to stay in Salina. That is the opinion of many visitors to the area who say the beds are comfortable, the rates reasonable and the employees are both efficient and friendly. Several clients noted that the bathrooms were spacious but the swimming pool was small. The property gets many repeat visitors which is a good recommendation.
