One of the best breakfast bars I have been offered, and they were kind enough to have not 2, but 3 towel sets provided.

Location near restaurants.

This was an overnight stay with my wife and two sons, 12 and 9. We arrived after midnight and left the next morning by 9:30, so it was a short stay. However, the hotel staff was very nice and accommodating, especially with the hour of our arrival being so late. Hotel was conveniently located off of the interstate and access was easy. Parking was at a bit of a premium.

It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant.

Decor of room was not the greatest.

This hotel was nice and clean with friendly, helpful staff. The continental breakfast had a good selection of food. Each of my kids was able to find something that they liked to eat. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, although there were a lot of towels lying around the pool area. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

It was very clean with friendly staff. There was a good selection at the continental breakfast.

My daughter said that the pillows were too soft, but they seemed fine to me.

The 57-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott Emporia is located in the town known as the front door of the Flint Hills. Emporia is also known for the All Veterans Memorial and Emporia Zoo - the smallest accredited zoo in the U.S. The three-story, non-smoking inn is on the I-35 Kansas Turnpike between Kansas City and Wichita. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a hot breakfast featuring the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The inn is close to Emporia State University, Flint Hills Technical College and the Newman Regional Health Center.

Several families that enjoyed this property recommend the Mexican restaurant, across the street from the inn, for authentic Mexican food and inexpensive drinks. Back at the Fairfield, former clients say the complimentary breakfast is one the best.
