We noticed a strong odor in our 1st room. They quickly changed rooms for us. The 2nd room had the same odor, though not as strong. The staff felt it may be a result of the high rain amounts that had received recently. Perhaps the filtration is not good enough.

Comfortable and roomy, nice helpful staff.

There was an odor in the room.

Travelers to West Des Moines were impressed with this Marriott property. There were two flat screen televisions, one in the bedroom and one in the living room, lots of space, good kitchen facilities and reasonable rates. The employees were helpful and friendly and had good advice about things to do and see in the area. Most clients say they will recommend this hotel to others and plan to stay here the next time they come to town.
