Atmosphere, cleanliness, all the pillows on the bed!

Revolving door was manual, not automatic--made it difficult when carrying in many purchases.

The 257-room, pet-friendly Marriott West Des Moines provides luxury accommodation at an affordable price equally suited to the business or leisure traveler. The nine-story non-smoking hotel is a 15-minute drive from the airport and operates a complimentary shuttle. There are two concierge levels and 11 meeting rooms for business and social functions. The largest can accommodate 450 guests. Shoppers love the location of this Marriott close to the upmarket Jordan Creek Shopping center. The hotel gets good reviews for its spacious rooms and a team of helpful and efficient employees. Many say the rates are competitive with neighboring properties. There are others who liked the modern bedding and flat screen televisions but said it was time now for new bathrooms and carpeting. Despite those comments most guests say they will stay here again and recommend the property to others.
