Excellent stay. However, our stay was two days after a tornado hit in Iowa City near the hotel so the scenery was not the best. Everyone was doing their best to adjust under these conditions.

I called the desk to tell them that who ever checked in next to me was very loud but I would wait until they were settled in-- I was told that college ball players were checking in. I believe that they should be on one floor and not among those of us that need a different atmosphere. I had profession business to study for and couldn't concentrate due to the noise in the hall on Saturday night.

My maid did extra little things that I appreciated.

To loud in hall slamming doors and loud talking.

Would definitely stay there again. Right in the heart of the University of Iowa Campus with access to everything you can imagine: unique shops, great food, interesting people and lots for the kids to do.

It was very kid friendly and the location was excellent!

The room had a stale smell, like it had formerly been a smoking room.
