Our experience was pleasant because it was our granddaughter's first time in a hotel and everything was exciting. She was thrilled and we noticed all the attractive features--especially the pool.
Pool was fun and beds were comfy and attractive.
One bathroom door stuck, one plug-in did not work, one cup was dirty.

Very affordable, great in town location, very clean, friendly staff. We will stay again at this hotel. It is probably the nicest hotel in cedar falls.

We were unhappy overall with our stay as 2 weeks prior to our stay I requested 2 beds non-smoking and the hotel assured me that would honor the request. Upon arrival our room was 1 queen smoking. They didn't seem to care that we had made the request earlier. I think they should have told us originally that we might not have got our request.
There was a great lobby/ bar area.
We called ahead for room specifications and did NOT receive them.

Most travelers who selected this full-service hotel for their stay in Cedar Falls were delighted with their choice. The service was outstanding and the rooms had new, very comfortable beds and were airy and spacious. Those who dined at the restaurant said the meals were good, reasonably priced and they arrived quickly. There were some minor moans that the swimming pool area could get noisy. Despite this most clients said they planned to recommend this Holiday Inn to family and friends and would stay here themselves on future visits to the area.
