Two worth mentioning include the Figge Art Museum, which houses a great selection of Grant Wood pieces, and the Grout Museum of History and Science.

Those who love nature will enjoy the Cedar River. Parks, hiking, golf courses and fishing are only a few of the great activities you can enjoy. Coast along the mighty Mississippi river on a floating casino or a lovely dinner cruise. Hopefully you’ll come a way a winner and have some cash to do a little shopping. Strategically placed to draw guests from neighboring Nebraska as well, the Mall of the Bluffs is a fantastic shopping center. One of the more unique places to explore in Iowa is the Snake Alley found in Burlington. It’s known as one of the most crooked allies in the world! That makes it a great location for a bike race so make sure you look both ways before you cross the street.

Spending time in Iowa can be filled by enjoying outdoor activities, touring historic sites or listening to great concerts. However you spend your time, Iowa is a wonderful place to explore.
