For the price, the hotel met our expectations. It was convenient to I 64 and our destination, the staff was friendly, and we appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room.

The 135-room Holiday Inn Express Louisville-NW at New Albany is a short drive from downtown Louisville and provides newly renovated accommodation equally suited to the leisure or business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this five-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There are two meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 125 guests. The property is eight miles from Elizabeth, Indiana, home of the Horseshoe of Indiana Casino. Other area landmarks and attractions include Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, the Kentucky International Convention Center, the Kentucky Derby Museum, Louisville Slugger Museum, the Belle of Louisville River Cruise, Fuzzy's Zeoller Covered Bridge Golf, the Muhammad Ali Center and Indiana University Southeast.

Frequent travelers to New Albany say they use this hotel on a regular basis thanks to the good prices and the helpful staff at the front desk who are always full of helpful hints about the area. Many said the breakfast here was special as were the spacious well equipped rooms. Some complained that there was not a lot of things to do within walking distance but appreciated the Subway sandwich shop which is in the hotel lobby.
