The breakfast was really nice and I like the location however the hotel didn't have an elevator. I didn't appreciate carrying my luggage up the stairs.

It was a wonderful hotel. We had a great experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Merrillville, IN. to visit the Star Plaza.

I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. There was wide variety of wonderful choices.

I didn't like the road access to the hotel. There was an event at the Star Plaza which made it very difficult to get to the hotel.

The 112-room Courtyard by Marriott Merrillville is a 45-minute drive south from downtown Chicago and provides affordable quality accommodation for both the business and leisure traveler. The two-story, non-smoking hotel has three meeting rooms for social or business functions. The largest can accommodate 100 guests.
