The pet-friendly Comfort Inn East is close to the Indiana State Fairgrounds and comprises 73 reasonably priced rooms equally suited to the vacationer or business traveler. Items included with the room rate a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls and free calling card access, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. The hotel is seven miles from downtown Indianapolis. Area landmarks and attractions include the Conseco Fieldhouse sports arena, the University of Indianapolis, Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Children's Museum, the Indianapolis Zoo, White River Gardens and shopping at the Circle Center Mall.

Frequent visitors to Indianapolis say this Comfort Inn offers great value for the money. The happy band of employees had helpful hints about the area sightseeing and knew the best places to shop and dine. The located is good, with easy access to both Interstate 70 and 465, and the complimentary breakfast with a popular waffle station was better than many expected. There were some minor moans that housekeeping could do better. All the rooms have high-speed Internet access, television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, coffeemaker, two-line telephone with voicemail, iron and ironing board, separate sink and vanity area and a hairdryer.
