Nice, clean facility. The breakfast was a little pricey, however, and the food was not kept warm enough. That notwithstanding, I'd go back again.

Hotel was very nice. The room was clean and pretty and quite large. Free coffee throughout day in lobby was a great plus. Would definitely go back again.

Bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast buffet a little expensive. $9 a person was a little high for quality.

The 120-room Courtyard by Marriott Springfield is adjacent to the Heritage Center of Clark County and the Clark State Performing Arts Center and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both vacationer and business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this six-story, non-smoking hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7.There are eight rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 500 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include numerous golf courses, historic Abraham Lincoln sites including the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, the Illinois State Fair Grounds, Knights Action Water Park, Henson Robinson Zoo, Wittenberg University, Clark State Community College, Cedarville University and the Lake Springfield Parks and Beach.

Popularity of this Courtyard was starting to wane. Now the hotel has undergone some major upgrading the good reviews are returning. The accommodation is spacious, squeaky clean with very comfortable beds. The team of employees here is professional and filled with ideas about shopping, dining and sightseeing to help visitors make the most of their visit to historic Springfield, the home of Abraham Lincoln. Most recent guests say they will make this their hotel of choice on future visits to the area and plan to recommend the property to family and friends.
