Very clean, nice pool area with hot tub. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Area that breakfast was served was clean and fully stocked.

Nice quiet location among great shopping and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and well kept. The complimentary breakfast and pool facility topped off this good hotel stay.

The room was comfortable with a kitchenette and lounge area.

Upon arrival an hour before scheduled check-in, the desk clerk responded unwelcomingly when asked about early check in.

Our overall experience at this hotel was very satisfactory; however, I feel that handicap-accessible rooms should be reserved specifically for the handicapped. It just so happens that we were provided with a room that was clearly furnished to accommodate those with special needs.

Upon arrival, greeted by friendly, helpful staff.

Could only use main entrance to get to elevators; handicap-accessible rooms are provided to guests who are not handicap.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Schaumburg comprises 125 one and two-bedroom suites equally suitable for the extended stay business traveler or families on vacation. The five-story, non-smoking hotel is located northwest of downtown Chicago and close to the 300-store Woodfield Mall, IKEA, Arlington Park Racecourse and the Medieval Times Dinner and Theater. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a hot breakfast buffet, a managers reception on Monday through Thursday evenings, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one room available for social or business functions that can accommodate 30 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include three golf courses, Sears Arena, the Schaumburg Convention Center, Allstate Arena, home of the Chicago Wolves and the Grand Victoria Riverboat Casino.

Families who stayed in the two-room suites at this Residence Inn said they were spacious, reasonably priced and ideal for an extended stay. The kitchens were well equipped and preparing home-cooked meals was made easier by utilizing the hotels grocery shopping service. Many guests liked the location, close to the expressway, but far enough away to avoid the noise. Most clients had no hesitation in recommending the hotel to others and said they would return here on future visits to the area.
