This 201-room boutique-style property is minutes from Chicago’s O'Hare airport and caters both to leisure and business travelers. The Hyatt Rosemont offers great dining and has flexible meeting space for banquets and business seminars. The hotel operates a free shuttle every 20 minutes to and from the airport. The property is within minutes of the center of Rosemont and is within driving distance of downtown Chicago. Nearby attractions include the Brookfield Zoo, Woodfield and Oak Brook Shopping Malls, Old Orchard Shopping Center, Rosemont Theater, Allstate Arena, Donald E. Stephens Museum of Hummels, Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio and the Grand Victoria Riverboat Casino in Elgin, Illinois.

Businessmen give this Hyatt top marks for good personal service and many prefer to stay here than at the nearby more lavish Hyatt Regency. That Hyatt property may be most luxurious but they feel the better rates and fewer people make a more convivial environment here at the Rosemont. There were some minor grips about having to share the shuttle bus with the other Hyatt property which can cause delays. Several former clients also suggested that the hotel might consider lowering, or eliminating its Internet charges. Smaller and cheaper hotels around the airport provide complimentary Internet access. Hyatt Rosemont Accommodations

The rooms have a modern, boutique-style decor with a choice of one king or two double beds and a granite bathroom with hairdryer. Other amenities include work desk with Internet access, separate sitting area, coffee maker, satellite TV, refrigerator, windows that open, dual line phones with voicemail and an in-room safe. A newspaper is delivered every weekday and room service is available during regular hours.

Amenities offered

The hotel’s River Terrace Café serves contemporary American cuisine and is open from 6.30am until 10pm. The adjoining lounge is open from 4pm until midnight. There is a coffee shop in the lobby for all day snacks and a take-away service. The newly renovated fitness center is open 24 hours a day and there are cycling and jogging paths near the hotel. There are several golf courses within easy driving distance. The hotel offers business center services and laundry and dry cleaning facilities.

From Downtown Chicago: Take I-90 (Kennedy Expressway) West, following the signs to O'Hare Airport, to HWY I-190 and exit at River Road. Turn left at the light and travel 1/2 mile north to Devon Avenue. Turn left. The hotel is located on the corner of Devon and River Road. From I-294 (Indiana/Michigan): I-294 North to I-190 O'Hare, exit River Road. Turn left onto River Road and travel 1/2 miles north to Devon Avenue. Turn left. The hotel is located on the corner of Devon and River Road. From I-294 (Milwaukee): I-294 South to I-190 West, O'Hare exit. Proceed through the tollbooth and exit at Mannheim Road South. At the top of the exit ramp, follow the signs on the right for I-190 East to Chicago. Follow I-190 East to the River Road North exit. Follow River Road and travel 1/2 mile north to Devon Avenue. Turn left. The hotel is located on the corner of Devon and River Road.
