The Hyatt Regency O'Hare, a world class 1,100-room airport and conference hotel has undergone a major transformation inside the 1969 John Portman structure with improved meeting faculties for conventions and conferences. The hotel operates a complimentary shuttle to the airport and has special late check-out rates to accommodate travelers who have flights departing in the afternoon or evening. The property is connected by skywalk to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont and is 15 miles by expressway or commuter train from downtown Chicago. Nearby points of interest include Allstate Arena, Arlington Park International Race Track, Brookfield Zoo, Woodfield and Oak Brook Shopping Malls and Old Orchard Shopping Center. There are two 18-hole golf courses within easy driving distance.

As wonderful as the hotel is, several former clients complained about noise levels, both from neighboring rooms and the airport. Those who paid top dollar for a room said the property didn’t warrant four-star status. Those who paid less thought it was good value. Several former clients though the charges for parking and Internet access were excessive however the majority of clients said they would certainly stay here again. Hyatt Regency O'hare Accommodations

All the rooms come with a choice of one king or two double beds, work desk with Internet access, cable TV with cable movie channels and in-room pay movies, telephone with message light, computer hookup and voice mail, electronic door lock, hairdryer, coffee maker, minibar and iron and ironing board.

Amenities offered

Dining options include O’H American Grill — open from 6am until 10pm – for fine dining; the Red Bar for appetizers and sandwiches and Perks serving Starbucks coffee, bagels and sandwiches. The hotel has an elaborate business center, 24-hour gift shop, soda and ice machines and laundry and dry cleaning facilities. The hotel gym is open 24/7 and there are jogging paths nearby. There are safe deposit boxes at the front desk and room service is available from 6am until midnight.
