Convenient, easy to find. Good hotel for a weekend stay. A little noisy right by the outside door. Nice touch of extra pillows on the bed and a friendly, helpful staff. They pointed out features, rather than just answering questions.

Overall, the hotel was very nice and the price was also very nice. Although the rooms were small, we were only there for one night on our way to another city, so it was okay.

The 95-room Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Chicago Lombard provides economically priced accommodation for both the business and leisure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking property has easy access to Interstate I-355 and is close to two major shopping malls, Woodfield and Oak Brook. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a continental breakfast, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The inn has five meeting rooms for social or business functions. The largest can accommodate 500 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the Glendale Lakes Golf Club, the John Hancock Building, College of Dupage, Good Samaritan Hospital and Devry University.

Many visitors to this Marriott property got more than they bargained for. The breakfast was bigger and better than most had expected and the service given by the employees warranted five stars. Those who wanted to visit downtown Chicago said it was a 10-minute drive to the train station and just a short ride to fabulous shopping on Miracle Mile. Most clients said they would be back to this inn again and hoped they could get the same low rates.
