Chicago O'hare Rosemont Travelodge hotel is a nice retreat in the peaceful Chicago suburb of Des Plaines, as well as conveniently next to O'Hare International Airport. There are plenty of entertainment venues and popular attractions just withing a walking distance, such as Lake Michingan, Lake Shore Drive, Loop Shopping, Magnificent Mile, Theaters and fine museums. For going far away you can look into the public transportation schedules and closeby routes available from the hotel's complimentary business center which offers use of a computer with an internet connection as well as printer. There is also a Metra Train Station nearby. If you don't wish to go far for a good meal you can choose from one of the hotels two restaurants or if you feel like a drink you can pick one up at the bar and unwind at the lounge. The staff at the front desk will help you with ant of your needs at any odd time.

The entire property appears to be dirty at a first glance. Public areas have a distinct and constant foul odor. Many rooms have dirty carpets that are in great need of replacing, uncomfortable bedding and small TV's. The staff is quite professional and nice. Read our customer reviews?

Guest rooms at this hotel have been recently renovated and come with useful standard amenities, including an in-room coffeemaker with complimentary coffee, in-room safe for valuables you just can't lose, pay movies, free high speed internet and voicemail. Oversized rooms have wet bars, micro-fridge and iron with ironing board.

If during your stay you wish to wear any dirty articles of clothing you wish to wear you can take advantage of the free on-site laundry facilities to wash them. The hotel staff can also provide a valet/dry cleaning service upon request. The hotel has two restaurants on-site, one which offers Chicago fast food and another which a Thai Spoon and Sushi Bar. For some quick cash the hotel provides an ATM in it's lobby. Guests have access to faxing and copying services. Complimentary issues of USA Today's are offered to guests daily.

From O'Hare International Airport (by car) Take the I-190 East ramp towards Chicago Loop and merge onto I-190 East. Take I-90 East/Kennedy Expressway and exit onto Eisenhower Expressway East/I-290 East. Turn right onto South Michigan Avenue and then make another turn right onto East Harrison Street. From O'Hare (by train) Take the Blue Line train to JACKSON. Walk 1 block East to Wabash Street, then South 3 blocks to the Travelodge located on Harrison between Wabash and Michigan. From Midway Airport Take the I-290 to the Wabash St. exit; make a right and the 1st street is Harrison, hotel on corner between Wabash and Michigan. From Midway (by train) Take Orange Line Train to ADAMS; walk 3 blocks south to the Travelodge located on Harrison between Wabash and Michigan. From North From I-90 & I-94, take the Congress Exit to Wabash Street; make a right and the 1st street is Harrison, hotel on corner between Wabash and Michigan. From South SEE ALT TEMP DIRECTIONS: From I-94 take the Congress Exit to Wabash Street; make a right and the 1st street is Harrison; hotel on corner between Wabash and Michigan. From East Take I-290 to Wabash Street exit; make a right and the 1st street is Harrison; hotel on corner between Wabash and Michigan.
