About the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Magnificent Mile

The Courtyard by Marriot Chicago Magnificent Mile is a great hotel in a great location for both business and pleasure. The accomodations are swankier than what one would normally expect from the Marriott chain, with granite countertops, and premium linens. Many of the rooms are on the corner of the 26 storey building, offering views of Michigan Ave. and the lake at the same time.

The hotel is steps away from Michigan Avenue shopping and sightseeing, and about a five minute walk from the Chicago Loop, Wacker Drive, NBC Tower, Navy Pier and many corporate offices. The hotel restaurant, Viand, is trendy and feels more like an cool bar than a hotel restaurant.

The inside of the hotel has a modern Art Deco style, with clean lines and bright colors.

You really can't go wrong with the Courtyard by Marriott Magnificent Mile. This hotel is swanky without being snobby, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Magnificent Mile Accommodations

All of the rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott offer free high speed Internet access, alarm clocks, individually controlled air conditioning, iron and ironing board, and a coffeemaker/tea service. The Courtyard by Marriott specializes in luxury basics, so you will not find yourself wanting for the essentials in any room. Beyond the basics, the hotel has fantastic views of downtown, nicely sized rooms, and extremely comfortable bedding.

The large bathrooms feature granite counters with tile showers and tile tubs. Bathroom linens are high quality with large, thick towels and washcloths.

Although you might never have to leave this hotel to have a great time(great restaurant, indoor pool, awesome views), one of the best amenities the Courtyard by Marriott has to offer is its location! Walk out of the hotel, turn left, and walk one block to Michigan Avenue, where amenities include five-star restaurants, boutique shopping, and world-class architecture.
